The Placemats

The background and the backing for these placemats are from 100% re-cycled denim, the leaves and the center are from my old stash. Fabrics for the flowers are from "an Ugly Fabrics Exchange" with the ASG members of the Chambersburg Neighborhood Chapter (thanks, Judy!).

I machine quilted the background, though am not so happy with the result but at least could be forgiven for it is my first try at machine quilting.

The Placemats

This is my first attempt on a placemat. I used a 100% recycled denim, left over from my son's pj for the binding. Fabric for flower is from "ugly fabric" exchanged with the members of ASG Chambersburg's Neighborhood Chapter (Thank you, Judy O'Brien!!). The leaves and the center are from my stash.

Three Daisies

These hotpads measure the same my other works 6' x 6'. The flowers and leaves are machine appliqued using a heat n bond method, the backgrounds are hand quilted. As you could see the materials are left-over from my "Meadow" project.

Enjoy!!!
