My roses are doing very well this spring, no black spots, no yellowish leaves, no unwanted insects ( i.e: Japanese bettles). My husband and I have about 12 species of roses planted around our house. We also planted a maple tree and a magnolia saucer last year. Unfortunately, the magnolia saucer does not fair very well. We consulted the local horticulturist, he said it's has an iron deficiency. He recommended a mixture of fertlizer and iron, the result will be seen in 2 weeks. "Till then, hold your breath and cross your fingers".
