Our Humble Dwelling....

We moved into this massive house in the one of the gated community in Makati, in Metro Manila or villages as they called it here. These photos are taken during a typhoon a while back. We are very happy with our new place and I especially love the small courtyard in the middle of the property. Though the house is quite spacious, there's not enough place for actually "garden"...so far it all good. Hope it won't be long till my next post!!

The best of times, the craziest of time....

It had been a very long while since I posted something on this wall. A lot of things has changed. The past eight months we have moved twice, travelled 8 thousand miles away from Pennsylvania to our new home in the tropics and I started playing golf again! Yay!

I have managed to finish off 3 quilts and a a dozen purses. Sorry no pictures though. My digital camera is currently out-of-commission (need to get a new one). Made a few new friends, taken trips to see a volcano, attended a few nice society parties and a ball to booth!

One of the best things; our current place is a plane ride away from my homeland, Malaysia. We been home a few times the past eight months, once was for a wedding. It was nice to see my families, there's ones I never knew but, they are well aware of my existence! Funny how family could be.

I am going to try to write more. More sewing, reading, quilting, golfing, gardening etc - might not be in that order.... ;-)
